The Course: Adult Autism 101
Discovering you’re autistic as an adult brings on a flood of emotions—relief, confusion, even grief. It’s a profound shift, and I'm here to guide you through it with compassion, honesty, and practical tools.
THIS ISN'T ABOUT CHANGING WHO YOU ARE. There's nothing about you that needs changing. Instead, I've designed this so you'll better understand yourself and your autism by uncovering the strength and beauty in what’s already there. We’ll explore the emotional terrain of late identification, challenge harmful myths, and equip you with strategies to navigate life in ways that feel right for you.
Here’s what you’ll find:
- Clarity and Understanding: Explore what late-identified autism means and how it shapes your experiences.
- Emotional Support: Process the highs, lows, and everything in between with warmth and validation.
- Practical Tools: Build skills for communication, self-advocacy, and creating spaces where you can thrive.
- Community and Belonging: Connect with others who truly understand and celebrate your journey.
This is more than a course—it’s a space for self-discovery, empowerment, and learning to live unapologetically as your authentic self.
What You'll Learn
Finding out you’re autistic as an adult is a BIG deal. It feels liberating, confusing, and even a bit overwhelming all at once. Adult Autism 101 is here to help you make sense of it—without the pressure to have it all figured out right away.

- Making Sense of Autism for You: What does being autistic mean in your life? We’ll break through the stereotypes and dig into what’s real for you.
- Understanding the Emotional Rollercoaster: Relief, grief, joy—whatever you’re feeling, it’s valid. Let’s work through it, one step at a time.
- Everyday Tools That Actually Work: From communication to self-advocacy to setting boundaries, you’ll build skills you can use in real life.
- Shaping a Life That Fits: Learn how to create spaces and routines that make you feel supported, not stretched thin.

Your Instructor:
Angela Walker
(aka Autistic Ang)
Hi, I’m Angela Walker, though most people know me as Autistic Ang. I self-identified as autistic in my late 30s, and holy shite was it a lot! Relief. Confusion. Grief. Questions I didn’t even know I had. It felt like my entire world shifted overnight, and I had no idea how to put the pieces together.
That’s why I created Adult Autism 101. This course is everything I needed but couldn’t find back then—a place to explore what being autistic means, figure out how to move forward, and learn to embrace the parts of myself I’d been told to hide.
You might know me from my podcast, Adulthood... with a Chance of Autism, or my writing on Substack, Quora, LinkedIn, and Reddit. I also share my thoughts in my Public Journal series on Amazon. Wherever I show up, I focus on one thing: helping late-identified autistic adults feel seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
Over the past few years, I’ve been part of countless conversations within the autistic community, and I’ve learned so much about what it means to thrive as a late-identified adult. This course is my way of sharing that knowledge with you—not as a one-size-fits-all solution, but as a guide to help you figure out what thriving looks like for you.
But this isn’t just a course to me. It’s personal. My hope is that it becomes the resource you can lean on as you start down this beautiful path, knowing you’re not alone.

This course changed that. The way it breaks down autism, piece by piece, made me feel seen and understood for the first time in my life. And the best part? No busywork. The real 'homework' is discovering yourself—and I’ve never felt more empowered to do that."

The humor is perfectly balanced, lightening the mood without ever taking away from the depth of the material.
